Here are some of the “red flags” that the hosts noticed:

  • Thinking about retirement: Haines said that Kelce’s constant thoughts about retirement from football were a “red flag”.
  • Censoring himself: Hostin said that Kelce’s statement, “The biggest thing to me: Make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away,” raised red flags.
  • Planning his next chapters: Haines speculated that Kelce is planning his “next chapters”.

Additionally, Hostin compared Kelce’s connection to failed famous pairings like Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe. According to her, star relationships frequently start out strong but eventually fade.

Finally, Sara Haines stated that she thought it was a “red flag” since Kelce had admitted to considering quitting football on a regular basis. “He is huge in the football world, and then you go to Taylor Swift land, and I think that if you were thinking about next chapters, this would be lovely,” Haines stated.
